Policies + Procedures

Boundaries & Guidelines for the first time and repeat guests:

We strongly believe that your time is valuable, as is ours. In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding experience to all of our clients & out of consideration for our time, we have adopted the following policies. 

 

Arrival to your services at the 121 Elm St., Wyandotte MI, 48192:

Haven Wellness is located on Elm St. right next to Little Pierogi & Crepe Kitchen. Our building remains locked at all times as we are by appointment only. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time, this allows for an unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened to keep on schedule. You will be responsible for the original treatment service charge. 

Respect for client needs and boundaries:

  • We are happy to adjust pressure, temperature, lighting, music volume and work on an area longer if you request it. 

  • You may leave on or take off as much clothing as needed for comfort.

  • Refuse any massage methods or stop massage at any time. 

  • Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind is never appropriate.

 

Payment policy:

All services require a credit card to guarantee a reservation, so please have your card ready when booking upon checkout. You will be billed to secure your reservation. Our cancellation or no-show policy is listed below. 

Cancellation Policy: 

Any cancellation with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to the cancellation fee of:

60 minute: $50

90 minute: $75

120 minute: $105

Membership Rescheduling:

Due to high demand, priority booking, and savings, all memberships are viewed as a necessity. With that being said, ALL PAID IN FULL massage memberships have a no exceptions policy for rescheduling, other than two reschedules per month 24 hours prior to appointment. If you don't use it, you lose it. You're committed to the time you've carved out for your body. However, if something unexpectedly comes up, you may gift your appointment immediately to a friend or family member to fill it. 

No Call/No Show:

Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for their service.

Confidentially & Conversation:

Conversations will be guided by your direction. We typically don’t speak unless spoken to. You may choose to talk or not to talk during your service. We prefer silent massages but if you choose to converse your conversation will be confidential. 

Existing & New Medical Conditions:

It is your responsibility to keep us informed of any medical treatments, pregnancy, and sicknesses. You must also keep us informed of any changes in health conditions. We may or may not need permission from your physician for massage/services to continue.
